LA RIVELAINE
ART, NATURE & SCENT
Closing of the Exhibition
Monday, May 18, 2026
From 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM
La Rivelaine is pleased to invite you to a special afternoon and evening, in the form of an open day and garden party, for the closing of the “Nature and Art” exhibition. Uniting art, nature, scent, and education, this event will take place in the gardens and monumental buildings of the La Rivelaine estate in Lillois, a place dedicated to creativity and environmental awareness.
La Rivelaine has long been a space for dialogue and sharing, where the connection to nature and all living beings is honored. We believe that art, culture, science, and ecology are intrinsically linked to our experience of the world.
In Collaboration with the Fleur Rossdale Foundation
This event is organized in partnership with the educational program of the Fleur Rossdale Foundation and the Saint Michael’s Fellowship. Together, we work for the protection of nature, the transmission of knowledge, and the strengthening of our collective commitment to the environment.
The program includes:
- Discovery of the Insensum workshop:
Dive into the fascinating world of incense, an ancestral ritual and sensory element. Discover the Insensum workshop, its fragrances, and its creations: incense, candles, soaps, diffusers, home fragrances. Insensum products will also be available for purchase.
- Exploration of La Rivelaine’s gardens:
Stroll through the gardens of the La Rivelaine estate. From mineral corridors to staircases lined with ponds, discover how old stones (brick, blue stone, cobblestones…) and lush vegetation (boxwood, ivy, ferns, hydrangeas…) intertwine to form a harmonious and inspiring whole.
- Welcome address by Fleur Rossdale:
Founder of the Direct Climate Cooling Initiative (DCCI) and children’s author, she will share her vision on climate change.
- Exhibition “Nature in Art”:
Presented in the monumental barn and curated by Aglaia Ponomareva (PONART, Fleur Rossdale Foundation), this unique exhibition merges the themes of climate, nature, and education, showcasing works by established artists alongside creations from the DCCI School Awards art programs (www.dcci.earth).
- From 5:00 PM: Wine tasting
Visitors who register online will be offered a complimentary first drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).
Through the awakening of the senses, La Rivelaine proposes a concrete approach to ecological responsibility, inviting a more conscious interaction with our environment.
